Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability Passed ICS audit standards

Prairie Shimizu Co., Ltd. has been certified and meets international standards in the social credit audit, ICS, in October 2021.
ICS is an audit that assesses compliance and sustainability from the perspectives of environment, labor, occupational health and safety, ethics, and management. Currently, 57 multinational companies are members of ICS, and each company can only produce products at factories that have passed the ICS audit. This is an indicator of whether or not the above aspects meet international standards.

Basic Policy

All officers and employees will strive to fully understand and comply with this "Compliance Basic Guidelines."
The basic policy for compliance at our company is as follows, in 13 items.
  1. Full Compliance with Laws and Regulations

    Our company will comply with relevant laws and regulations, social norms, the "Compliance Code of Conduct", and company rules.

  2. Personal Information Protection

    We will comply with the laws and regulations on the protection of personal information and will strive to protect your personal information.

  3. Respect for Human Rights

    We will protect and improve the human rights, safety, and well-being of all stakeholders in all of our business activities.

  4. Prohibition of Harassment

    We do not engage in behavior that constitutes sexual harassment or bullying and harassment using one's position or status (power harassment).

  5. Creation of a Comfortable Work Environment

    We will comply with all applicable occupational safety and health laws and regulations, and strive to create a safe and comfortable workplace.

  6. Prevention of Relationships with Anti-social Forces.

    We will take a firm stance against organized crime and other antisocial forces and will not have any dealings with them.

  7. Prohibition of Bribery

    All officers and employees will not, directly or indirectly, offer, promise, or provide any financial or other benefits to obtain unfair business advantages.

  8. Fair Dealing with our Partners

    We will conduct fair and free competition and proper transactions throughout the supply chain, and maintain healthy relationships with our partners.

  9. Intellectual Property Rights

    We will respect the intellectual property rights of third parties and will not engage in any acts of infringement, such as software piracy or plagiarism of copyrighted works.

  10. Ensuring the Safety of Customers and Employees

    We will place the health and safety of our customers and employees as our top priority. We will provide necessary and sufficient education on safety and health to ensure safety, and we will raise the awareness of safety for each individual.

  11. Respect for International Rules

    In international business activities, we respect overseas laws, cultures, etc.

  12. Provision of safe and secure products

    We will strictly manage quality and ensure the provision of safe and secure products.

  13. Relationship with Society

    We will actively engage in recycling and energy conservation activities, and strive to reduce the burden on the environment and make effective use of resources.

In addition to complying with laws and regulations, we will act honestly in accordance with the values and ethics required of us as members of society.
Through this, we will achieve fair and proper management, respond to the demands of society, and develop our company.
